As I drove through the calm quiet road blaring the latest Off the Vine podcast with the incredibly entertaining Kaitlyn Bristowe, I see the turnoff for A Little Piece of Heaven venue. I follow the cute hand crafted signs and am in awe of what I find at the end. You can feel the sense of charm the second you walk around. It’s like you have a little tucked away oasis that no one else knows about.
I am so excited about all of these images. I’m talking more excited that I could skip watching the batchelor tonight. I mean this season isn’t that great though (I’m still bitter that Blake isn’t the batchelor)………….but as a die hard fan I watch the good, the bad and the ugly. Yet if you looking for a love fix THIS STUFF IS IT!!!! Everyone that worked on this styled shoot was absolutely amazing. From the models to the makeup artists, everything was absolute perfection.
The models that were the bride and groom were so amazing to work with. I’m not gonna lie……..I was totally amazed at how gorgeous Kaitlyn was with her beautiful blonde hair and big eyes. It was also so fun that her real husband, Allen, was playing the groom. Who wouldn’t want to get all done up and go take pictures in a stunning wedding gown without having to deal with an actual timeline………or people…….or in laws. All the other models, Daisie, Mim and Christina, were THE best. I’m a bit crazy and awkward all wrapped into a petite burrito but I like to think that’s part of my charm. Christina was rolling with it! I just loved how all of them were so easy to work with. I wish I could photograph them everyday!!!
I literally was in photography HEAVEN (no pun intended) with how beautiful all the details were. The cake was GORGEOUS! I am so envious of anyone that can do that. I’m convinced that you have magical powers to create something so elegant with food. All of my baking experiments look like they were thrown together in a food truck at your local theme park. Tasty but hard on the eyes. Speaking of eyes, the makeup was to die for. The makeup and hair artists should come live with me and get me ready every morning. That way I can sit and drink a cup of coffee while getting beautiful instead of trying to match my eyeliner that ever grows into raccoon eyes with every second that I mess with it.
Thank you to all the vendors and other photographers who made this styled shoot amazing. Seeing how it is my first styled shoot ever….gasp…..it will be very hard to beat because you put the bar pretty high.
Thank you to all the truly gifted, talented and amazing vendors.
