Beautiful John Wayne Marina engagement session: Sarah + Nick

I am so blown away that I got to hang out with one of the coooooooolest couples this last weekend! Sarah and Nick came all the way from St. Louis to visit Washington for the first time. This John Wayne Marina engagement session is to DIE FOR!!!!!! I love that they wanted to incorporate the water in their engagement session. We wanted to have the mountains too, but good ole’ Washington decided that clouds were the way to go. So when they come back for their destination wedding………..we are SO gonna rock that sunshine with the mountains in the background.

These two are not only the friendliest, most laid back people to hang out with, they are also rockstar business owners! Since they live out of state, we got to meet first over the phone. I got to hear all about how Sarah had started her business this last year. She owns her own bakery called Traditions Bakery and has officially won my heart with her courage. Opening a business is hard enough, let alone to do so in the last two years!!!!

These two put the star in rockstars

Nick got to tell me how his business, Kinder Auto Repair, became super busy over the shutdown. Everyone started taking care of those to-do lists they had been putting off. I just love meeting other small business owners and it melts my heart when I get to serve people like these two beautiful human beings.

Running around with them on a Saturday reminded me just how much I have missed being able to interact with couples. Watching how Nick made sure Sarah was comfortable during the whole session, or how giddy they got when they got to see how daaaaaang good they were looking on camera. I just CANNOT wait to be able to celebrate with them for their wedding. Even if life is not quite what it used to be, it will still be amazing because these two are more than amazing!

This John Wayne Marina engagement session turned into an adventure

This was the very first time Sarah and Nick had been here. So, with everything being closed, they got to go see all the great outdoors that Washington has to offer! They hiked the Dungeness Spit before their session so naturally, we had to finish the session off there.

Thank you Sarah and Nick for making this session a blast. For being so kind and welcoming. It’s not just the people deprivation talking because I definitely mean it!!!!! You two are so down to earth and make it easy, relaxing and a whole lot of fun to be around. Till next time 😉
